GOOD NEWS DOES EXIST. ❤️ And maybe the more we share it, the more of it we’ll start to see. My daughter just wanted to see the stars. ✨ I was nervous to take the kids “camping” on my own, but she really wanted to go. What I didn’t expect was to fall completely in love with Big Bend. The canyons. The mountains. The desert. The Rio Grande. The darkest skies. Terlingua. The people. And standing there with my kids, I finally understood why so many people have been fighting so hard to protect it from a wall that would destroy everything Mother Nature built. ❤️ This week, that fight got some GOOD news. A federal judge temporarily stopped planned border barriers and other ground-disturbing construction while the legal battle continues. That doesn’t mean the fight is over. But it means people who cared enough to speak up, organize, donate their time, and fight for this land made a difference. And maybe that’s the part I love most. We always say we’d do anything for our kids. Sometimes that means protecting something beautiful so their kids get to experience it too. ❤️ So much gratitude to the attorneys, conservation groups, local communities, landowners, and everyone who has fought for Big Bend. DFW being in the middle of everything isn’t just convenient. It’s part of what continues to make North Texas attractive to both people and companies.
